Known as the most beautiful and adventurous hike of Mediterranean, Selvaggio Blu, Sardinia, is really an adventure beyond all expectations, a unique experience of total escape... times and rhythms at a crawl, adaptability, in the backpack the bare essential.

A trek that winds through imperceptible paths and mule tracks, thin ledges and big caves, sections with short climbs, rappels and iscal'e fustes (log ladders), it all in a great context, the Supramonte di Baunei and the coasts of Golfo di Orosei, unspoiled area surrounded by woods of oak and juniper, mysterious bacu (gorges) and cale (small bays).

From Santa Maria Navarrese to Cala Sisine, along a stunning route, made of white beaches, crystal clear water and breathtaking sunsets, through places of great beauty, such as Pedra Longa, Cala Goloritze, Punta Giradili, Portu Pedroso and Baku Mudaloro.

An adventure based on the essential, bivouacs under the stars, meals cooked on a bonfire or by camping-stoves, the only help, stores of food and water  prepared in advance by the mountain guide by sea at every stage.

Lack of back-up points, few and difficult chances to find water, orientation problems and very few traces of human presence, together with short sections of easy climbing and rappelling (managed by the mountain guide), make this trek and unforgettable experience

After much talking about it, this time we did it.

Two brothers, belonging to oppposite worlds, but with a common love for adventure and the mountains. Mountain Guide one, Executive Chef and manager of the restaurant SENSO, selected in the 2023 Michelin Guide with a Star, the other.

Together, to share the most exciting - and tasty - Selvaggio Blu ever.

Join us, to try or live again the most beautiful and wildest trek in the Mediterranean, this time more than ever, a unique experience of senses, perfect harmony between adventure and flavours.

A journey through authentic places and savors: handcrafted products without the use of preservatives, nectars and jams from the Alfio Ghezzi Anthology line, natural snacks obtained from dried trout and adult bovine diaphragm, olive-based energy bars and puffed pasta. In the evening, dishes designed and made together, a journey in the journey based on creativity, ethics and sustainability, respect for the environment.

DIFFICULTY: alpinistic trek (no experience needed).
DURATION: #7 days.

Customizable dates and programs on demand for individuals and pre-arranged groups.

Costs include:

- Logistics.
- Food and water for each stage.
- IFMGA mountain guide service.
- Half-board service in Hotel (2DAYS - first and last - drinks excluded).
- Dayly support and return by boat to starting point.
- Insurance.
- Memory pics.

Costs do not include:

- Whatever not mentioned above (flights and transfers in/to Sardinia).
- Land Management Tax to the Municipality of Baunei (30€pp).

3. Portu Pedroso.
4. Cala Mariolu.
5. Bacu Mudaloro.

7. Breakfast. Closing greetings.

Indicative program, stages may undergo changes decided by the guide, depending on specific needs of the moment, not predictable ahead.

Tips

Sardinia can be easily reached by flight (Cagliari or Olbia Airport) or by sea from Livorno; then to Santa Maria Navarrese by public transport (regular runs), private transfer or by car on rent.

Opportunities

DURING THE TREK
Rock climbing onto the Aguglia Goloritzè (Punta Carrodi): the easiest route is "Easy Gymnopedie" (150m/6a, 1p 6b/A0), gorgeous rock. Max #2 people. Cost: 230€/1pax, 150€pp/2pax - rate dedicated only to trek participants).

BEFORE/AFTER THE TREK
Climbing stage on multipitch routes. Approximate cost: 300€/1pax, 175€pp/2pax.
