A jorney into the history at Passo Tonale - Adamello

The Sentierro dei Fiori is a historical path reinterpretation of old entrenchment walks, that italian soldiers used to follow during World War 1st in Adamello, to connect military posts installed on the ridge. The name is linked to the presence of numerous species of flowers despite such impervious environment.

It leads from Passo Castellaccio to Passo Lagoscuro: some passages are really stunning, like the eagle's nest, former lookout now suggestive viewpoint, and the two hanging walkways near Gendarme di Casamadre, restored in 2011, that had been abandoned during the war because easily subjected to enemy fire, replaced by a tunnel built in 1918 and still present.

- For tours of two or more days thru the glacier of Adamello, the widest of italian Alps, ask for a quotaion.

- Costs include: IFMGA mountain guide service, insurance, equipment, photos.
- Any other espenses are at charge of participants (eventual lift-tickets and mountain huts for themselves and the guide)
